It's the Lighthouse Tavern.  We love Lighthouses!  And we love bars.  As your eye takes you around our subtle maritime accented 'decor', you will find yourself swimming in comfort. Our antique bar is orignally from Brooklyn, but not sure where - we picked it from an old warehouse up by Williamsburg.  Shiny tin ceilings and dark blue walls, friendly and attentive bartenders who ctually know how to make the drinks you want with occasional advice and a good ear - all these things have made us a neighborhood favorite in a very short period of time. Relax and kick back on the black leather couch or take a seat in the sunshine of our garden (heated in the winter)...just watch your feet on the table if the chef is around!

Oh my god - you have a kitchen?

Yup!  That sliding door in the middle that wafts out aromas of chicken wings and other savory treats - is actually a kitchen!  Using garden-fresh vegetables, and juicy, delicious meats, even our Pub food is a treat. David works hard to replicate the flavors of his home in our Costa Rican bocas, or to give you what's beem dubbed "the best burger in the slope" - whichever flavors you choose.  We serve only the best of what we would expect to be served ourselves.  Treat yourself to a great meal and a great time.

Some people know what they want, some need a little coaxing.... so we came up with our very own cocktail, beer and Black & Wha? menus (new variations of the timeless Black and Tan)!  Every night of the week had its own special - now it also has its own cocktail and Black and Wha?!#% to boot!  We also offer a wide selection of domestic and imported botted beer, a great choice of wine both regional and international, and a full bar stocked with your favorite liquors (and some we could suggest!). Whatever you're looking for - we've got it.  If we don't, we'll get it...  Just ask our regulars!
